Hey friends,
Y’all remember how this all started, right? It started with a few chairs and a radical idea: that good food, dignity, and belonging are basic needs, and everyone deserves them.
Not everyone sees it that way, as you know well. You can feel it in the headlines, in policies that punish poor folks instead of addressing it. You can see it in systems that make it easier to fall through the cracks than to climb out. Too many folks are left wondering: Where do I even go now?
At Table, we’ve got a clear answer to that question: You’re welcome here.
Here, you choose from a full menu—waffles, lattes, salads, and more. You’re greeted with a warm smile (and probably a hug). You’re seen. And you’re never turned away.
This year, more people than ever are walking through our doors: families facing housing insecurity, students skipping meals, neighbors in crisis. And what do they find here? More than a meal. They find connection, resources, dignity, and hope.
They find you.
Because seated right beside them is the downtown worker who paid full price for breakfast. The mom who “paid it forward” with her coffee. The student who once came in needing help, now volunteering to give it.
Y’all have heard me way it for years: this is more than a café. It’s community.
And it’s stretching to meet the moment we are facing in our community.
With food costs rising and more meals left unpaid, we’re now facing a serious funding gap. One that we must close to keep saying yes to everyone who walks through our doors.
Today, we’re launching our End-of-Year Campaign:
The Community Table That Just Keeps Growing.
Our goal? Raise $100,000 by December 31 to ensure no one is turned away. And we know we can do it.
You have the power to set the table for someone else:
$15 covers a warm, good good meal that we all deserve
$65 feeds a family of four
And each gift pulls up a chair and says, “You belong here.”

The world may not always make room. But we do. Meal by meal. Chair by chair.
Thank you for making it possible. We could not do it without you and we certainly would not want to.
With big hope and endless gratitude,
Maggie
P.S. The table is growing—and your gift helps us make room for one more.
