For over eight years, A Place at the Table has been a safe haven of warmth, connection, and belonging in our community. It’s a space where everyone who walks through the door instantly becomes part of a bigger family.
This past May, our family grew even larger thanks to an incredible partnership with First Citizens Bank.
As a nonprofit cafe, financial support is the fuel that keeps our mission running. We are profoundly grateful for First Citizens Bank’s generous $10,000 sponsorship. But what truly blew our team away wasn’t just the check, it was their energy. From their very first conversation to their final volunteer day, the First Citizens team didn’t just fund the table; they truly sat at it with us, rolling up their sleeves and connecting deeply with our community.
Real Investment, Real Impact
Because First Citizens Bank chose to step up, lives are actively changing. To see the true weight of their investment, you only have to look at the Carpenter family.
For years, a family that has visited us regularly has been navigating the heavy burdens of being unhoused, facing some of their hardest chapters. Through it all, our cafe remained their one constant safe haven. This May, while First Citizens Bank was sponsoring our space, we got to celebrate a monumental milestone: they finally signed a lease and moved into their very own home.
A $10,000 sponsorship ensures that we can walk alongside families like this through their lowest moments all the way to their highest.
Pull Up a Chair: Sponsor the Cafe!
We are so grateful to First Citizens Bank for making this impactful month possible, and now we invite you to join us next.
Whether you are a local business, a corporate team, or an organization looking to make a tangible difference, sponsoring A Place at the Table is about more than philanthropy. It’s about ensuring that dignity, community, and a hot meal are available to everyone, regardless of their means.
