1. Development Director

Overview: The Development Director will own the strategy and execution of our fundraising efforts while working collaboratively with our Executive Director (Maggie Kane) and Director of Partnerships & Community Engagement (Emily Weidman). You’ll hold direct responsibility for a defined donor portfolio ($250K–$300K), while contributing to the full $1.57M annual fundraising engine through strategy, systems-building, stewardship, leadership, and executive support. 2. General Manager

Overview: The General Manager is a vital role and key tone setter in the day to day cafe operations. This role requires presence during peak volume times, including weekends. Responsibilities include overseeing management and hourly staff, creating connections and ensuring smooth customer experiences, maintaining food quality and service standards and upholding all company policies and procedures. The general manager will also be responsible for working with the Director of Operations to understand, manage and guide financials to meet annual budgets.
This is a role that requires a deep understanding and commitment to our mission. The right candidate will bring both operational strength and a heart for the community, recognizing that every task—from managing a shift to resolving a customer concern—helps us build a more welcoming and inclusive place for all.

3. Front of House

Overview: The Front of House Staff will represent the mission of A Place at the Table, bringing people together around good food. This position will be in front of house working stations such as Point of Sale, Barista, and Volunteer Lead. You will work with the General Manager and Community Manager to ensure proper execution of daily functions. You will perform a variety of tasks, from barista, stocking supplies, serving, volunteer managing, handling the cash register, cleaning tables and counters, greeting customers, and answering questions. To achieve this you’ll need to be comfortable working with all types of people, this includes showing grace, leading with compassion, and having a genuine love for people.
