Hey Table fam,
I don’t know about you, but for me, it’s hard to ignore the weight of the world right now. So much feels uncertain, and the heaviness is, well… heavy. In times like these, I hold tight to the things that truly ground me—being together, sharing meals (and hugs), and finding comfort in community.
At A Place at the Table, we’re reminded every day that even in the midst of sadness, goodness still shows up. We see it in the folks that show up to do dishes, in the generosity from donors like many of you, and in the simple joy of gathering over really good coffee.
And honestly—I’m just incredibly grateful to be part of this with all of you.
And in the spirit of holding onto what’s good, we’ve got some beautiful things happening at Table that I’m excited to share with you:
We have a brand-new menu!
Thanks to the awesome Dean Ogan and our fabulous team, we’ve launched a fantastic new menu that we’re really proud of. Think sweet and spicy chicken and waffles, breakfast burritos, and oatmeal cream pies. YUM!
You can check it out—and even order ahead—right here: tableraleigh.org/menu
Yes, you can now order online!
Whether you’re in a rush or just planning ahead, ordering online is now an option. Quick, easy, and just one more way we’re making it easier than ever to enjoy Table.
Keith Lee stopped by Table!
We were honored (and totally starstruck) when food reviewer Keith Lee (photo below) visited us and shared our story on TikTok. First, he came because of all of you. Then we asked you to share it and you did, hundreds of times. Thank you for being the reason he came! If you haven’t seen it yet, you can watch the video here: Watch on TikTok
The most beautiful part? After the video went live, we got calls from people wanting to volunteer in exchange for a meal, and families wanting to come in and eat together, no questions asked. That is what Table is all about and the reason we continue to do this beautiful work.
New faces, same big heart
We’ve also welcomed some amazing new folks to our team recently. We’d love for you to meet them! Get introduced here: tableraleigh.org/our-team
We’re just so thankful for all the ways you show up for Table. Whether you stop by for lunch, tell a friend about us, donate, or volunteer—you are helping us create a space where everyone belongs. We could not be more thankful! We truly could not do this work without you.
See you at Table soon,
Maggie
